Old Friends and Technology: A Perfect Combination
I am just finishing a long-weekend in the Boston area with three dear friends. We decided that an Air B and B would be a more appropriate venue for us to relax and catch-up on what’s been happening in our lives. And it was. We stayed in a charming, centrally-located home in Quincy, which had all the amenities we needed, including views, great places to walk and a corkscrew. The only thing it did not have was a bedroom for each of us. This was a problem. As we have been friends for a very long time, we had a frank conversation upon arrival about each of our nighttime noises, i.e., our snoring. As two of our friends had shared rooms during work-related meetings, one described the other’s sounds as “melodious and comforting.” She also noted, with great enthusiasm, that there was a rain App that, should any of our nighttime noises be a problem, we could just put on the gentle sound of rain falling, and all our problems would be solved.
